Groups are used for definition of access rights to particular functionality of OptimiDoc and multifunction. Basic everyone group is used for general definition of access rights for all users. Other groups can switch the settings from everyone group. So for example when Everyone group allows usage of color printing and coping than administrator can deny the color group in other group. Each group can has assigned list of users or departments.




Group list - Add group

To add a group to OptimiDoc system Click on icon.


Group list - Delete group

To delete a group Click on icon. A group can not be deleted if any user is assigned to it.

Basic settings

General

  • Name - Name of group
  • Description - description or notes about the group.

Access rights - general settings of access to web interface and device functions

  • Web interface
    • User - basic access to dashboard, user reports
    • Department Manager - access to user level + user department reports
    • Manager - access to user + complete reports
    • Administrator - access to complete OptimiDoc  web interface
  • Device operations
    • complete reports
    • Administrator - access to complete

Members - tab to add and remove group members. Rights will be applied to users added to group. To add user or group write name to test field. To remove user or group select user and Click on cross.

Scan workflows - definition of scan workflows access rights. In list of Enabled workflows you can see the list of enabled workflows in everyone group. In list of disabled workflows you see the list of disabled workflows in everyone group.

To change the settings check selected workflow.

Print connectors - definition of access rights to print connectors. Behavior is same as for scan workflows.

Projects - definition of access rights to projects. Behavior is the same as for workflows.
