Problem:

We are using OptimiDoc version 8 now. We would like to upgrade OptimiDoc to version 9.

The Solution:

1. Contact our support at email address support@optimidoc.com. We will update your license.

2. Also we will generate a new license key with ABBYY Fre 12 support.


If you have a new license key:

1. Please backup your local database files

2. Deactivate the ABBYY licence by licensemanager.exe (<OptimiDoc-installation-folder>\OCR\Bin64\licensemanager.exe)

3. Install OptimiDoc version 9.00 with installer from our Partner portal.

4. Activate your license - Online or Offline

How to create a back up copies of local DB files?

1) Start Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager and stop OptimiDoc website.

2) Open the folder <OptimiDoc>\WebApp\App_Data.

3) Copy the two files with suffix .mdf and .ldf.
