1.  Login to Azure Management Portal - https://portal.azure.com/#



2.    Go to Azure Active Directory section > Azure Active Directory > App Registrations and Click on Add.


3.    Enter the application name, select native application type and Redirect URI.:

4.    After creation of application, go to application details> settings > Required permissions and Click on add button and add SharePoint Online.


5.    Select the Microsoft.SharePoint API and in permission select rights based on image bellow and Click on Select. Add permissions for SharePoint Online and save.


6.    Configure the redirect url. Add redirect URL: https://oauth.optimidoc.com/MicrosoftOnline/


6.1.    Now you have complete configuration in Azure.




7.    To start the configuration of OptimiDoc you will need the Application ID.


8.    In OptimiDoc setup the scan destination.

Title -> name of scan destination

Type -> type of scan destination

SharePoint server -> add your SharePoint online URL

SharePoint web -> leave empty if you want to upload scans in SharePoint root folder

SharePoint path - name of the folders on SharePoint


- See below points on how to add Client ID and Client Secret


In case that you are using sites in Sharepoint, you need to set and split url address like f.e


Url "https://optimidoc.sharepoint.com"

Web = "/sites/OptimiDocNorthAmerica"

 Path = "/Shared%20Documents/test"


9.1 Add a Client ID -> Copy your App ID and paste into scan destination "Client ID".

9.2 Add a Client Secret -> Select settings -> Keys -> set key description -> save and copy key value -> paste key value in scan destination "Client Secret" -> Save


10.   Then authorize the access by clicking on the  button on the user's dashboard. For general account use the button in Scan Destinations.
