User list


User list provides a basic overview of users in OptimiDoc user database. Through User list you can view, search, add, edit or delete users.




User list search


  • By name - enter the name into the text field in the First Name or Last Name column
  • By login or card number - enter the desired login or card number into the text field in the Login column
  • By department - select a department from the list in the Department column




Add a user

To add a user to OptimiDoc click on the  button and fill in the following:


  • First name - User's first name
  • Last name - User's last name
  • Department - User's department. Each user can has assigned only one department
  • Login - login is a unique user identifier in OptimiDoc, each user can has more than one login (different login in 3rd party applications)
  • Password - User's password to web interface and embedded user interface in case of Login and Password authentication method
  • Email - User's email which will be user for sending a documents and notification.
  • PIN - PIN is used as a users identifier in case of PIN authentication method
  • Home folder - User's home folder which will be used for document storage
  • Card number - number of user card used for authentication



Users - Edit user

The registered users details can be viewed and edited.


To view user details such as:
- access rights
-allowed/denied operations
-assigned groups, scan flows, print connectors and billing codes,
click on the button.


To show user's card number and department click the  small button next to user's name.


To edit existing user click on the  button.


Users - Delete user/Reset Password and more

To bring up a menu that allows to view user log, reset password, resend PIN and to delete a user click on the  button to show a context menu. In the menu you can select a desired operation:
