Terminal is a software extension to the OKI MFP interface

Terminal requires properly licensed and configured OKI Embedded Platform.

Support for SDK 2.4 or higher is required.

See HCL - OKI for compatible devices.

Initial-screen property is not supported.

YSoft Payment System is not supported.

Embedded terminal accounting does not account blank pages.

Scanning multiple sheets (simplex or duplex) in one scan job is supported only when scanning using automatic document feeder (ADF).

Authentication method Username and Password is not supported for users containing @ character in username. More details in the article configuring OKI for YSoft SafeQ Embedded Terminal with @ character in username.

Card self-registration is available with only with Early Access feature "Toshiba/OKI Browser Authentication" available from MU28.

Black and white jpeg scan is not supported. If Black and white color option and JPEG format is selected when scanning, the job is not processed a screen with "Scanning error" message is displayed .

The IIS 7.5 or higher (ie. Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher) is required for the Scan feature.

It is not possible to account blank pages when printing in duplex.

The terminal might not work properly if the MFD certificate validation is enabled (configuration option enableMfdServerCertificateValidation).

After every reinstall a manual restart of the printer is strongly recommended.

Exiting the sleep mode by swiping a card is not supported.

It is not possible to restrict print jobs sent directly to the printer's IP address

Card self-registration is not available.

Logout by card is not available.

Fax accounting is not available.

Guest user must be enabled for printing.

Print Accounting

• Guest user must be enabled.

• We cannot mix different paper size in one job.

• If we use PCL driver and a printed duplex document contains odd count of pages, the duplex job is accounted for even pages.

Manual deletion of SafeQ application from the device is required after embedded terminal uninstallation. (Device web administration -> sXP Application -> Delete SafeQ Application).

Print job does not stay collated if you change the number of copies in finishing options for the job. (4 pgs job is printed as 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4 instead of 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4)
