Transferring license to new system - hardware or operating system change
Before transferring the license to new server (e.g. when original hardware fails), it is necessary to enable reactivation on new hardware. If the reactivation is not allowed, license server will determine that the activation has happened on different computer and the activation will fail with one of the following messages:
This license has been previously used on a different server.
You are trying to activate license MAxxxxxxx on a server where a different license (MAxxxxxxx) has been used in the past.
Please follow these steps to enable reactivation:
The partner responsible for the installation needs to send a request to allow reactivation on new hardware to licenses@ysoft.com.
The request must contain
the reason why the transfer is needed
support ID or the customer company name
Please note that the approval process may take several days to complete.

Make sure there has been no YSoft SafeQ license (except for TRIAL license) activated on the computer you are going to use. If this condition is not met, the following error message will be displayed when trying to activate the product:
